Wheat payasa(godhi nucchu ) recipe



As we know wheat is very healthy food source and rich in fibre ,we can prepare a delicious payasa with it.We can use organic sugar or jaggery for sweet.

wheat payasa
Required ingredients
Cut pieces or whole wheat grain:1 cup
Grated fresh coconut:1
Jaggery:2-21/2 cups
Cardamom powder:1 tsp
How to prepare wheat payasa
Wash and cook wheat grains till they become soft.
Grind grated coconut by adding sufficient water and extract coconut milk by squeezing it through clean white cloth.Again add little more water and squeeze the thin coconut milk.
Add thin coconut milk and jaggery to cooked wheat and boil it.When jaggery dissolves completely add cardamom powder and thick coconut milk.When it starts boiling put off fire.
Wheat payasa is ready.
