- Apply ghee to a plate and keep it aside.
- Remove the seeds from dates and soak in water for 5-6 hours.
- Grind dates to make smooth paste.
- Pour grinded dates,milk,jaggery in to a thick bottomed pan or kadai & heat on high medium flame stirring without a .break.
- Add ghee as required while stirring.
- Continue to stirr the mixture until it starts separating from the sides of the pan and starts forming a lump.
- Add cardamom powder, cashew and groundnut pieces and stirr well.
- Transfer the content to previously ghee applied plate,spread evenly with ghee applied spoon.
- Wait for 15-20 minutes,cut the Halwa in required shape.
- Separate the pieces only after it is cool.
- Delicious Dates Halwa is ready to serve.
