Lemon rice is one of the easy and delicious breakfast dish.because of minimum ingredients and less cooking time this is one of the favourite dish of bachelors.This can be used as breakfast as well as snack.
Required ingredients
Rice(cooked):1 cupFresh lemon:1
Oil:2 tsp
Mustard seeds:1 tsp
Blackgram dal:1 tsp
Channa dal:1/2 tsp
Ground nuts:10-12
Broken red chilly:1/2
Curry leaves
Turmeric powder:1/4 tsp
Salt to taste
Grated coconut:1/4 cup
How to prepare lemon rice
- First prepare rice and keep it aside.(how to prepare rice)
- Heat oil in a pan.Add mustard seeds,Channa dal,black gram dal,broken red chilly,ground nuts(peanut).
- When mustard seeds starts spluttering add curry leaves,turmeric powder and salt.
- Add cooked rice and mix well.
- Add grated coconut and again mix it.
- Heat it on low flame till the rice becomes warm.
- Put off the fire.
- Cut lemon and extract juice.Sprinkle it over the cooked rice mixture.mix well.
- Lemon rice is ready.Serve hot.
